Terms of Sale
Last updated 17 June 2026
These terms cover the purchase of access to the Paris Eater interactive map (the "Map") at map.pariseater.com. The Map is run by Richard Mortimer, trading as Paris Eater. By buying access you agree to these terms. If you have any questions, email richard@pariseater.com.
What you're buying
The Map is a digital product. Around twenty spots are free to browse. A one-time payment of €12 unlocks the full map: the names, photos, blurbs, tags and locations of every venue I've reviewed, plus search, filters and a saved shortlist. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
Price and payment
The price is €12, shown inclusive of any applicable taxes at checkout. Payment is handled by our third-party payment provider, who acts as merchant of record and may collect and remit VAT on our behalf. You will receive confirmation by email once your payment is complete.
Access and delivery
Access is delivered digitally and immediately after a successful payment. Once unlocked, the Map is yours to use for as long as the service runs, across the devices you use to sign in. I aim to keep the Map available and up to date, but I can't guarantee uninterrupted access, and venue details change as places open, close and evolve.
Acceptable use
The content of the Map, including the reviews, photos and the underlying data, is mine and is for your personal use. Please don't copy, scrape, resell or redistribute it. Access is granted to you and isn't for sharing as a single login across a group.
Refunds
Because the Map is a digital product delivered instantly, purchases are non-refundable. Please read the Refund Policy before you buy. If something has genuinely gone wrong, email me and I'll do my best to help.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here is the one that applies to your purchase. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
